For this post, the people I am referring to will be named Kanga, Pooh, and Tigger.
So, all three friends seem to be having trouble in the Hundred-Acre Wood. The Heffalumps and Woozles have been waging a full on war with them, and the ill-equipped Kanga, Pooh, and Tigger are losing worse than imagined. (My name, for sake of continuity in this post, will be Owl.) This Owl happens to be very close to Kanga, not so close to Pooh, and even less with Tigger. So, it is only right that I address the issue with Kanga first. Kanga is a beautiful kangaroo. All of the other female Kangas love her, and she has more friends than Owl could have ever wish for. But Owl has one thing Kanga does not. That thing is Honey. Kanga has been searching for Honey for a very long time, going back and forth from brand to brand, craving each one for a certain amount of time, before getting bored and focusing on another. One day, Kanga was just going about her usual day when she stumbled upon a new kind of Honey that she had never seen before. As soon as she saw this Honey she became hooked. Everyday she would walk by the Honey and crave it more and more, till one day she decided she would approach the Honey and speak to it. Her friend Owl encouraged her all day long, telling her that she could do it. When the time came that Kanga would see the Honey and talk to it, she froze up. The perfect opportunity to snatch that Honey was wasted, and now Kanga is depressed. She has spent so much time adoring the Honey, and wanting the Honey, that she feels there is a connection between her and the Honey. She has become obsessed with the Honey to the point where nothing else matters but getting that Honey. Owl is afraid for her, and thinks that she needs to stop it before she goes crazy and does something stupid. Owl also thinks Kanga needs to forget about focusing on Honey, and more on other things, and let the good Honey come to her. Tigger has a different problem. Tigger is dealing with things that only Owl knows are not sincere. Tigger, who in this story is also a female, wants to bounce really high, and do a whole bunch of tricks. Tigger is sick of being unknown. Tigger has been with a few Mr.Tiggers, but Tigger wants more. Tigger doesn't understand what it's like to have a real Mr.Tigger, but she wants another one because its fun, and she wants someone to talk to. Tigger decided to change so as to attract a few Mr.Tiggers. Tigger did something she convinced herself was fun, in hopes of achieving this goal. Tigger ultimately failed, and is now depressed. Owl knows that Tiggers real intentions were not soley because it was fun and she enjoyed doing it. Owl knows that even though Tigger wont admit it, she was doing everything only for one thing. And Owl knows that that one thing was to find another Mr.Tigger. Owl also knows that if Tigger had succeeded, and did find a Mr.Tigger, that Tigger would say things she didn't mean, and convince herself that she did mean them. Owl knows that Tigger wants to find a Mr.Tigger just so she can love them. Owl knows that Tigger doesn't understand love. Owl no longer likes Tigger. Pooh's story is similar to that of Kanga's. Owl doesn't know too much about Pooh's story, only that Pooh (who is sticking to his true gender and being a male in this story) is also suffering a battle with the Heffalumps and Woozles. Pooh is very intelligent, and Pooh knows a lot of things that Owl doesn't. Though Owl knows not the smarts that Pooh knows, Owl does earn knowledge from observation. Owl knows that Pooh has suffered a battle different than most. Pooh has fought his own battle inside his head. Pooh has over-thought many a different things. Pooh, like Kanga, was searching for Honey. Though Pooh found it hard to crave just one. Pooh wanted many, but the Honey wanted none. Pooh suffered from his genius thoughts. Pooh thought he understood. Pooh knew what he wanted, and he knew how to express it. Owl noticed the amount of time Pooh spent talking about the Honey, and thought that though Pooh seemed to know what he was doing, that one day he would realize it was all useless. Owl, you see, knew that you mustn't endlessly search for the Honey. You mustn't crave one kind of Honey for too long. Owl knew that if you just sat back, and let your gaze wander, that one day the Honey that best suits you will be there. Owl knew that obsessive wanting and desire only led to the loss of Honey. A step in the wrong direction. Owl has a Mr.Owl, and Owl knows the weaknesses of the Heffalumps and Woozles. Owl has beaten them, and Owl knows that Kanga and Tigger will not win the war against them if they do not stop and think and realize that their efforts are futile. Our friend Pooh may be the only one to have gained the upper hand in the war, for he has come to terms with the effects of the Honey, and realized what it has been doing to him. Owl has realized that the main focus of her friends and the people around her is Honey. Everybody wants and craves Honey. Owl thinks that this is silly. Take a look at all of the Honey, and don't start settling on one, because it will just go bad by the time you get to it. Owl is seriously upset by the happenings around her. But then again, Owl could just be painfully bitchy because she has a Mr.Owl and didn't have to deal with the fight against the Heffalumps and Woozles (which, if you didn't already catch on, were referring to the multiple Honeys) for very long.

Okay, okay, so you're Owl and I'm Mr. Owl (how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?).
Now I get it.
So wait, was I obsessed with buckwheat or wildflower?
And its more that I realized that Honey is sickly sweet, and yet life without Honey still makes me sad...
At first my mind was awhirl with immature jokes about pooh from elementary school...
